Fiona had the honour of being invited to speak at this year’s ‘Old School New School’ Conference hosted by the team at Design Speaks, which was held virtually from 31 August – 1 October 2021. Topics and ideas ranged from agile learning spaces, to luminous manta rays, the social agency of pre-schoolers and sustainable university design.
Fiona spoke to the concept of the ‘Power of 10’ in the design of early learning centres, or as this recent write-up in ArchitectureAU describes it: how to “organise early learning play spaces around the imaginative potential of the kids”.
